President Callahan's message about Leading with Purpose campaign goal
Dear Pacificans,
We are excited to announce that our historic fundraising campaign, Leading with Purpose: The Campaign for University of the Pacific, has reached its $300 million goal six months ahead of schedule. Based on the extraordinary momentum from donors, the university will continue raising funds through the official June 30, 2022 campaign end.
This campaign, the largest in Pacific’s history, has brought tremendous change and transformation to our three campuses. Through the generosity of 21,000 donors, Pacific has established new academic programs and faculty positions, constructed and enhanced cutting-edge learning and research facilities and much more. Most notably, the campaign has expanded scholarship support for high-achieving students from all backgrounds who dream of a Pacific education.
We want to thank our students, faculty and staff who have donated, volunteered and supported this great effort. Your tireless devotion, especially during the pandemic, was integral to the success of this multi-year campaign that will enable generations of Pacific students to continue to flourish and lead with purpose in all their future endeavors. We’d also like to acknowledge our campaign co-chairs, Regent Virginia Chan ’77 and former Regent Tony Chan ’77 for their leadership, along with our campaign cabinet and the development and alumni relations team.
Sincerely,
Christopher Callahan
